Matecito is Ombú Studio’s task tool: the website at matecito.ombustudio.com and the apps for iPhone, iPad and Mac. This page says what it keeps about you, why, who handles it for us, and how to delete it.
What we keep
- Your name and email: who you are, how you sign in, where your notices go.
- Your profile photo, when one was added for you or it comes from your profile in the studio’s Slack.
- What you create: tasks, comments and the images you attach to them.
- The push notification token of each device you sign in on, so it can get notices.
- Your language and your notification preferences.
- If you register an iPhone or iPad on the apps page to install the studio’s build: its identifier (UDID), model and iOS version.
- Cookies that keep you signed in and remember your language and theme. No others.
Why
To let you sign in, work on the tasks of the projects you are part of, and tell you about what is yours: by email, in the app and with push notifications. Nothing else.
Who handles it for us
These services process data on our behalf, only to run Matecito:
- Supabase: the database, sign-in and stored files.
- Vercel: hosts the website and its API.
- Apple Push Notification service: delivers notifications to your devices, with the text of the notice (a task’s title, for example).
- Resend: sends the emails (sign-in codes, invitations and notices).
- Slack, when the studio uses its integration: tasks created from Slack, notices to project channels and your Slack profile photo.
- Anthropic (Claude): the name of a label when you ask for icon suggestions, and a Slack conversation when someone mentions the Matecito bot in it, to draft its tasks.
What we don’t do
No ads, no tracking across apps or websites, no third-party analytics. We do not sell your data or share it for marketing.
How long we keep it
As long as you have an account. When you delete it, your data is deleted at that moment; the database’s automatic backups may hold it for a limited time, until they roll over.
Deleting your account
In the apps and on the web, from your profile: Delete my account. It asks for your email to confirm, takes effect immediately and cannot be undone.
Your login goes, and with it what is only yours: notifications, preferences, devices, tokens and access to projects. The tasks and comments you wrote stay for the rest of the team, without your name. The studio keeps your name on its team roster and, if you work for the studio, the employment records it has to keep: your email and contact details are deleted with the account.
